Angular contact ball bearings can withstand both radial and axial loads. Can work at higher speed. The larger the contact Angle is, the higher the axial bearing capacity is. High precision and high speed bearings usually take 15 degrees of contact Angle. Under axial force, the contact Angle will increase. Single row angular contact ball bearings can only bear one direction of axial load, when bearing radial load, will cause additional axial force. Angular contact ball bearings are: 7000C type (∝ = 15°), 7000AC type (∝ = 25°) and 7000B(∝ = 40°). The locking port of the bearing is on the outer ring of the bearing. Generally, the inner and outer rings cannot be separated, and it can withstand combined radial and axial loads as well as axial loads in one direction. The capacity to bear axial load is determined by the contact Angle. The larger the contact Angle, the higher the capacity to bear axial load. The bearing can limit the axial displacement of the shaft or housing in one direction.
