Outer spherical bearing is a kind of automatic aligning bearing with spherical outer ring surface and sealing cover on both sides of the bearing. 390000 series outer spherical bearing is a common agricultural machinery, in Xinjiang 2, Futian, Central Plains and other combine harvesters, are widely used in this kind of bearing, a locomotive is used as many as 30 disks. 390000 series outer spherical bearing is fixed with the inner ring of the bearing and the shaft through the eccentric sleeve, and the inner hexagon screw on the eccentric sleeve plays a fastening role. In the maintenance, many operators will not disassemble and assemble this kind of bearing, so it is necessary to introduce the technical points and precautions of disassembling and assembling 390000 series outer spherical bearings:

I. Disassembly

1. First loosen the locking screw on the eccentric sleeve of the bearing with an hexagonal wrench, and then insert a small iron rod into the countersunk hole on the eccentric sleeve of the top cover, and loosen the eccentric sleeve against the rotation direction of the shaft.

2. Loosen the bolt holding the bearing seat. Remove the bearing from the shaft along with the bearing seat. Note before removing the bearing seat at one end of the shaft. The bearing seat bolt at the other end of the shaft should be loosened so as not to damage the two ends of the bearing due to mutual stiffness.

Ii. Installation

1. Before installing the bearing on the shaft, the fixing pin of the bearing jacket must be removed first. At the same time, the surface of the journal should be polished and clean, and the journal should be coated with oil for rust prevention and lubrication (allowing the bearing to rotate slightly on the shaft).

2. Grease the mating surface between the bearing seat and the bearing and load the bearing into the bearing seat. Then the assembled bearing and bearing seat together on the shaft. Push to the required position for installation.

3. The bolt fixing the bearing seat should not be tightened first, and the bearing jacket should be able to rotate in the bearing seat. Also install the other end of the bearing and seat on the same shaft, rotate the shaft for a few turns, so that the bearing itself automatically finds the right position. Then fasten the bearing seat bolt.

4. Install eccentric sleeve. First, put the eccentric sleeve on the eccentric step of the inner sleeve of the bearing, and tighten it by hand along the rotation direction of the shaft. Then insert the small iron bar into or against the countersunk hole on the eccentric sleeve. The small iron bar is struck with a hand hammer in the direction of rotation along the axis. Make the eccentric sleeve firmly installed, and finally lock the hex screw on the eccentric sleeve.
